Nach dem Update der Blackberry AppWorld Anwendung für BlackBerry Smartphones kann unter umständen das Appworld Symbol auf dem BlackBerry-Smartphone fehlen. Das Upgrade der auf BlackBerry App World auf die Version 3.1.0.58 ist davon betroffen.
Ich war z.B. nicht davon betroffen, allerdings habe ich auch die
engl. extrahierte Version der Appworld installiert. Einige Leser hatten uns diesbezüglich angeschieben und darüber geklagt, dass nach dem Update das Icon am Gerät fehlt. Vor Weihnachten hat RIM diesen Fehler bereits erkannt.

Zwischenstatus von RIM
Das Problem wurde bereits an RIM weitergemeldet und wird derzeit vom Entwicklungsteam untersucht. Aktuell ist noch noch bekannt, wann das Problem behoben wird.
Lösungsansatz
Löscht den BlackBerry AppWorld Cache und macht ein Downgrade auf die vorherige BlackBerry AppWorld 3.1.0.56 über den folgenden Link http://www.blackberry.com/appworld am BlackBerry Smartphone.
