Noch gute zwei Wochen bis zur Vorstellung von BlackBerry 10. Es kommen immer mehr Details ans Licht. Nun haben wir Screenshots der Maps-App für Euch.

Anfang Mai 2012 teilten RIM und TomTom mit, künftig  TomTom HD Traffic – Daten liefert. Auf der BlackBerry Jam Americas Ende September zeigte RIM eine Folie, die eine 2D-Navigation erklärte. Nun haben wir erstmals Bilder der neuen Blackerry 10 Maps – App.

In der  BlackBerry BetaZone für Großbritanien befindet sich außerdem seit Monatsanfang auch eine Betaversion des BlackBerry Nagigator für BlackBerry OS 7, die Echtzeit-GPS  und ebenfalls TomTom-Daten nutzt. Für die OS 7 – App werden nachfolgendende Eigenschaften genannt. Deshalb vermuten wir, daß diese auch für BlackBerry 10 gelten.

Navigation & Traffic

• Save directory results to the address book for future use.
• Home screen shortcuts – Easily create home screen shortcuts for “click to go” to frequent or important destinations.

• BBM Integration – Send location enabled messages to your BBM contacts.
• Facebook – Keep your friends and family updated by posting your location or favorite cafe to Facebook.
• Contacts App Integration – Get directions to a contact right from your device’s contacts.
• Day/Night Mode – Automatic Day and Night Mode.
